Microsoft Home Use Program (HUP)
In January 2010, Iowa State University signed an agreement to provide the Microsoft Home Use Program (HUP) to eligible Iowa State faculty and staff. This agreement replaces the Work-at-Home-Rights (WAHR) program that had been in place for several years. HUP is simpler, less restrictive, and generally more convenient than WAHR for users. Only Microsoft Office is available with the HUP option. Windows will need to be purchased under the standard educational discount and is available at the Book Store.
