Microsoft Office for Faculty/Staff

Office 365

All Iowa State employees have access to Microsoft 365 applications at no additional cost. The Microsoft Office 365 apps can be downloaded to your device or used online as web applications. Popular Microsoft Office 365 applications available to Iowa State employees include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, OneNote and Teams. Download the desktop applications to your laptop or computer.

Azure Dev Tools for Teaching

Azure Dev Tools for Teaching (formerly Microsoft Imagine) is a Microsoft Program that supports technical education by providing access to Microsoft software for learning and teaching purposes including the most current Microsoft operating systems, server products (e.g, SQL Server), development software (e.g., Visual Studio, SDKs, DDKs), applications (e.g., Project, Access), and training tools (e.g., Azure).  

License Information: Azure Dev Tools for Teaching is available to use at no charge for educational purposes, and cannot be used for infrastructure or commercial development. For license questions contact itslicense@iastate.edu.

To download Azure Dev Tools for Teaching products: Go to Azure Dev Tools for Teaching and sign in using your ISU Net-ID and password.

Microsoft Software

Iowa State University Departments should contact their department's Contact of Record for Microsoft Software before purchasing Microsoft Software. Adobe Software

Iowa State University now has a contract with Adobe to offer access to a their software. There is no cost to participate in this program.
