Service Request Process
Step 1: Use the Calendar below to book a service appointment.
Step 2: Bring your device to the TechCyte Service Center (in the ISU Book Store, Memorial Union) at the scheduled time.
Step 3: Check-in your device, share relevant information, and await final call for device pick up.

It all starts with a simple service appointment. A calendar appointment is required as it allows our technicians team to prepare for your visit and create/queue repair requests on a first-come-first-serve basis.

The TechCyte Service Center rates are competitive with current industry rates to ensure students, faculty, staff and departments at the Iowa State University get the best-possible service rates while never leaving campus. Personal device repairs can be billed to your U-Bill or charged to a credit card. Departmental repairs can be charged to a Worktag or with an Iowa State Purchasing Card (P-Card).

*Cost depends on computer and warranty coverage. Diagnostic/Check-In Fee may be waived depending on warranty coverage. For machines under warranty, a standard labor rate applies when not covered by vendor.
